Truefare Terms of Use v1.0
Effective Date: October 19, 2026
Last Updated: October 19, 2026
Welcome to Truefare.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Truefare mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
The Services are operated solely by Truefare Health LLC (“Truefare,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). No corporate affiliate operates Truefare.
Please read these Terms carefully. By selecting “I Agree” or otherwise affirmatively accepting these Terms during registration, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, you should not use the Services.
The initial mobile release is for iOS. The website is informational and does not provide account registration, laboratory uploads, or personalized nutrition services. These Terms describe app features where available.
Your use of the iOS application is also subject to applicable Apple App Store terms and Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Standard EULA”), which governs the software license. These Terms supplement that license for the Truefare Services. For claims against Truefare, Truefare will not rely on the Standard EULA to reduce the protections in Sections 16–18 or impose a lower damages cap than Section 17.
1. About Truefare

Depending on the features available to your account, Truefare may provide:
Personalized weekly meal plans.

Nutrition recommendations based on selected goals and preferences.
Optional nutrition personalization informed by uploaded laboratory results.
Grocery lists and supported shopping integrations.
Nutrition-related progress features.
Reminders and notifications.
Other related nutrition and wellness tools.
Our goal is to make healthy eating easier and more practical through personalized food recommendations and meal-planning tools.
Truefare is intended for general nutrition, wellness, and educational purposes.
Truefare is not a medical provider and does not provide medical diagnoses, prescribe treatments, or replace professional medical care.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Truefare.
The Services are currently intended for individuals residing in the United States.
By creating an account or using the Services, you represent that you:
Are at least 18 years old.
Are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
Will provide accurate information to the best of your knowledge.
Will use the Services in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
You may not create an account on behalf of another person without appropriate authorization.
We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably determine that an account does not satisfy our eligibility requirements.
3. Important Health and Medical Disclaimer
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY.
Truefare provides nutrition-related information, meal-planning tools, and personalized food recommendations.
The Services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Truefare does not establish a physician-patient, dietitian-patient, or other licensed healthcare-provider relationship merely through your use of the application.
Even where Truefare uses nutrition criteria informed by qualified professionals, the recommendations generated by the application are not a substitute for individualized medical evaluation.
You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes, particularly if you:
Have a diagnosed or suspected medical condition.
Take prescription medications.
Have food allergies or medically necessary dietary restrictions.
Have abnormal laboratory results.
Have kidney, liver, metabolic, cardiovascular, or other health concerns that may affect dietary requirements.
Have been advised to follow a medically supervised diet.
Do not disregard professional medical advice, discontinue prescribed treatment, or delay seeking medical care because of information provided through Truefare.
Truefare does not provide emergency medical services and does not monitor your health continuously.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate emergency medical assistance.
4. Nutrition Recommendations and Personalization
Truefare generates nutrition recommendations using information you provide, supported nutrition criteria, available recipe information, and other relevant service inputs.
This may include your selected nutrition goals, allergies, meal preferences, household size, cooking preferences, and optional laboratory information.
Recommendations depend on the accuracy and completeness of that information.
You acknowledge that:
Nutrition needs differ between individuals.
Personalized recommendations may not account for every medical condition, medication, or individual circumstance.
Recipe nutrition information may contain estimates or inaccuracies.
Food products, ingredients, and nutritional compositions may change.
A meal plan suitable for one individual may be inappropriate for another.
Results from dietary changes are not guaranteed.
Truefare does not guarantee specific health outcomes, including changes in cholesterol, blood sugar, iron levels, body weight, or other health measurements.
You remain responsible for evaluating whether particular foods, recipes, and dietary changes are appropriate for your circumstances, with professional guidance where necessary.
5. Optional Bloodwork Personalization
Truefare allows eligible users to voluntarily upload laboratory reports to support additional nutrition personalization.
Uploading bloodwork is optional.
The service may use automated document-processing technology to extract laboratory information from uploaded reports.
Although we employ processes intended to identify and organize relevant information, automated extraction may produce errors or omit information.
You understand that:
Uploaded reports may contain information beyond the measurements used for personalization.
Laboratory results may be incomplete, outdated, incorrectly extracted, or otherwise unsuitable for a particular recommendation.
Truefare’s processing of laboratory results does not constitute a medical diagnosis.
A nutrition-support recommendation does not establish the presence or absence of a medical condition.
Truefare does not independently verify the accuracy of laboratory testing performed by an outside laboratory.
You should consult the issuing laboratory or a qualified healthcare professional about questions concerning your results.
Where supported, you should review laboratory information displayed in Truefare for apparent inaccuracies and contact us if you identify a concern.
Optional third-party document processing sends the complete submitted report to LlamaIndex/LlamaCloud for AI-assisted laboratory extraction. That processing requires a separate explanation and your affirmative permission before transmission. Accepting these Terms is not that permission. Extracted results and related histories are retained separately from the original report; the provider may retain information after local cleanup or account deletion, as described in both privacy policies. You may decline optional bloodwork processing and use supported non-bloodwork features.
Our handling of uploaded information is described in our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
6. Food Allergies and Dietary Restrictions
Truefare provides features that allow users to specify certain food allergies and dietary restrictions.
These features are intended to assist with meal selection but do not guarantee that any recipe, ingredient, or food product is free from a particular allergen.
Recipes and nutrition information may originate from independent publishers or other third-party sources. Such information may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.
Ingredient substitutions, preparation methods, manufacturing processes, packaging changes, and cross-contact during food preparation can introduce allergens or other substances not reflected in a recipe listing.
You are responsible for reviewing ingredients, product labels, allergen statements, and preparation instructions before purchasing, preparing, or consuming food.
If you have severe allergies, a history of anaphylaxis, or medically necessary dietary restrictions, consult an appropriate healthcare professional and exercise particular caution.
Do not rely exclusively on Truefare’s allergen-filtering functionality to determine whether a food is safe for consumption.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies you may have under applicable law.
7. Third-Party Recipes and Content
Truefare may display recipe titles, images, nutrition information, links, and other content obtained from independent recipe providers and publishers.
Recipe instructions may be hosted on external websites.
Third-party recipes and related content remain subject to the applicable rights and terms of their owners.
Truefare does not necessarily create, independently test, or verify every recipe displayed through the Services.
We do not guarantee that third-party recipe information is accurate, current, complete, or suitable for every user’s dietary needs.
When you visit an external recipe publisher, you may become subject to that publisher’s terms, privacy policy, and other applicable conditions.
You may not reproduce, redistribute, commercially exploit, or otherwise use third-party recipe content in violation of the applicable rights of its owner.
8. Grocery Lists and Shopping Integrations
Truefare may provide grocery lists, ingredient estimates, product information, and integrations with third-party retailers or shopping services.
These features are designed to simplify grocery planning and shopping.
Unless Truefare expressly states otherwise, we are not the seller of the groceries or other physical products obtained through an external retailer.
Retailers and shopping services are responsible for their own product offerings, pricing, availability, substitutions, purchase transactions, delivery or pickup arrangements, and applicable customer-service policies.
You acknowledge that:
Grocery lists and quantities may contain estimates or inaccuracies.
Suggested products may not exactly match the original recipe ingredients.
Product prices and availability may change.
Retailers may substitute products or modify their offerings.
Store inventory and shopping-cart contents may differ from Truefare’s displayed information.
Shopping integrations may occasionally be unavailable or experience technical errors.
You are responsible for reviewing your grocery selections, product labels, quantities, prices, and final shopping-cart contents before completing a purchase.
Purchases made through external retailers are governed by the applicable retailer’s terms and policies.
Truefare does not guarantee that a shopping list can always be converted into a complete or accurate retailer shopping cart.
9. Accounts and Account Security
Certain Truefare features require an account.
You agree to provide accurate account information and maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You are responsible for activity occurring through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law, except where responsibility properly belongs to Truefare or another party.
You agree to notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You may not:
Access another person’s account without authorization.
Misrepresent your identity or eligibility.
Attempt to bypass authentication or security controls.
Interfere with the operation of the Services.
Access information belonging to other users without authorization.
Use automated systems to extract or reproduce substantial portions of the Services without permission.
Attempt to compromise or reverse-engineer the Services except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.
We may take reasonable action to protect accounts, investigate misuse, and prevent unauthorized activity.
10. Subscriptions and Payments
Certain Truefare features require a paid subscription.
For the initial iOS release, subscriptions are offered through Apple’s App Store using Apple’s in-app purchase system.
Subscription pricing
The applicable subscription price, billing period, and available features will be displayed before you authorize your purchase.
Prices may vary depending on the subscription product, introductory offer, applicable taxes, and other conditions shown at checkout.
The price presented through Apple’s purchase process governs the subscription transaction you authorize.
Automatic renewal
Unless canceled, an auto-renewable subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period.
Apple processes applicable subscription charges through the payment method associated with your Apple Account.
By confirming an auto-renewable subscription purchase, you authorize the recurring billing terms presented during Apple’s purchase process.
Free trials and introductory offers
Truefare may offer an introductory free trial or discounted subscription period to eligible users.
The availability, duration, eligibility requirements, and terms of any offer will be displayed before purchase.
Unless the applicable offer expressly states otherwise, an eligible free trial converts to a paid auto-renewable subscription when the trial period ends unless you cancel before the renewal or conversion date.
The standard subscription price and billing frequency will be disclosed before you confirm the offer.
Trial eligibility is determined under the applicable App Store offer rules.
Cancellation
You may cancel an Apple-managed subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings.
You can manage subscriptions at:
https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions
Cancellation generally prevents future automatic renewals. Your access to paid features may continue until the end of the period already paid for, subject to the applicable subscription terms and any changes made by Apple.
Cancel in time under the timing shown by Apple to avoid the next charge. Apple advises canceling a free or discounted trial at least 24 hours before it ends. Access during a free or discounted trial may end when you cancel.
Uninstalling the application does not cancel your subscription.
Deleting your Truefare account does not automatically cancel your Apple subscription.
Refunds
Purchases and refund requests are processed through Apple, subject to Apple’s policies and applicable consumer-protection laws.
You can request assistance with an eligible Apple purchase or refund through Apple’s support and purchase-management services.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund rights provided by applicable law.
Changes to subscription pricing
Subscription prices or available plans may change.
When a change affects an existing Apple-managed subscription, applicable notification, consent, and renewal procedures will be handled in accordance with Apple’s requirements and applicable law.
Applicable law may impose additional consent, acknowledgment, reminder, price-change, or cancellation requirements. Apple’s billing role does not eliminate any obligation that applicable law places on Truefare.
11. Availability and Changes to the Services
We aim to provide reliable access to Truefare, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.
Certain features depend on external services, internet connectivity, retailer integrations, recipe providers, or other systems outside our direct control.
We may modify, improve, replace, or discontinue particular features for legitimate business, technical, security, or legal reasons.
Where a material change substantially affects a paid service, we will provide notice or other remedies as required by applicable law.
We will not use this section to avoid obligations concerning subscriptions, purchased access, or mandatory consumer rights.
Weekly meal plans, recipe availability, grocery integrations, and supported features may change over time.
12. Intellectual Property
Truefare and its associated application design, software, branding, trademarks, original content, and proprietary technology are owned by Truefare Health LLC or its applicable licensors.
Except for rights expressly granted to you, we retain all rights in our intellectual property.
Your access to Truefare does not transfer ownership of the application, its software, or its underlying technology.
The iOS application’s software license is governed by Apple’s Standard EULA identified above, supplemented by the commitments in these Terms. These Terms do not grant broader rights in third-party content than its owner permits.
You may use the Services for lawful personal, noncommercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Truefare’s proprietary content or technology without permission, except where permitted by law.
Third-party recipe content, images, trademarks, and other licensed materials remain the property of their respective owners.
13. Information You Provide
You retain any ownership rights you have in the information and documents you submit to Truefare.
You grant Truefare only the permissions reasonably necessary to receive, store, process, and use submitted information to provide the Services you request, consistent with our Privacy Policy, Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, and applicable consent requirements.
You represent that you have the right or appropriate authorization to provide information and documents submitted through your account.
You should not upload another person’s medical or laboratory records without appropriate authorization.
Nothing in these Terms constitutes blanket consent to use your laboratory information for advertising, unrelated research, or model training.
Applicable privacy rights and restrictions continue to govern the handling of your information.
14. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us.
Our collection, use, disclosure, and retention of personal information are described in:
Truefare Privacy Policy
https://truefarehealth.com/privacy
Truefare Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
https://truefarehealth.com/health-privacy
These policies supplement these Terms and provide information about privacy choices and applicable rights.
Acceptance of these Terms does not replace any separate consent or authorization required by law.
15. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Truefare at any time.
You may also request deletion of your account through supported account settings or by contacting us.
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to:
Address serious violations of these Terms.
Prevent fraud, unauthorized access, or security threats.
Comply with applicable legal requirements.
Protect the integrity of the Services or other users.
Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
Termination of your account does not automatically cancel an Apple-managed subscription.
Any refund or remaining paid-access rights will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the relevant subscription terms.
Provisions that reasonably need to survive termination, including applicable intellectual-property protections, dispute provisions, and lawful limitations of liability, will continue to apply.
16. Disclaimers of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, specific nutritional results, or that all information provided through the Services will be complete or suitable for every individual.
Nutrition information, laboratory extraction, recipes, and grocery information may contain errors or omissions.
You should independently verify information before relying on it for decisions involving your health, food allergies, or medical care.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, guarantee, or other protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Truefare Health LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the Services, where such limitations are legally permitted.
For direct damages on ordinary contractual claims arising from the Services, Truefare Health LLC’s total aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of:
$100; or
The total subscription fees you paid to Truefare, including through Apple for your Truefare subscription, during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable liability arising from fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or violations of nonwaivable consumer-protection or privacy rights.
Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
These limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory laws applicable to you provide otherwise.
If you have a concern or dispute involving Truefare, we encourage you to contact us first so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally.
You may contact:
Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising rights before a court, regulatory authority, or other forum where those rights cannot lawfully be restricted.
These Terms do not require binding arbitration or waive your right to participate in a class action.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Services, applicable law, or our business operations.
When material changes occur, we will provide appropriate notice.
If a change requires additional consent under applicable law, we will obtain that consent before applying the change.
Changes will not retroactively eliminate accrued statutory rights or alter existing subscription commitments in a manner prohibited by law.
The effective date at the top of these Terms identifies the current version.
Continued use after applicable notice may constitute acceptance of updated Terms where legally permitted.
20. General Provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Our failure to enforce a particular provision does not necessarily waive our right to enforce it later.
These Terms, together with applicable incorporated policies and any additional terms expressly accepted for particular features, establish the agreement concerning your use of the Services.
Any conflict with mandatory applicable law will be resolved in favor of the applicable legal requirement.
